Bangkok day 2

Health condition : minor flu and minor sore throat.. Not feeling so good..

Took a photo with Stan, the organiser of the exhibition.

I was demotivated by someone (first visitor to my booth on the first day, singaporean) who has been in the thai market for 12 years. My product's price can't compete with the local manufactured here, taiwanese formulation. What a great way to start my day!

Oh well.. We'll see.. Maybe he is trying to play me off..

Lunch: pho with mushroom sausage.. Nice..

Pork series

I am taking advantage of the food made of pork because it's very difficult ... sorry not difficult, it's IMPOSSIBLE to have pork ham and sausage served in malaysian hotel for breakfast or buffet..

And also, reasonable priced instant noodle with pork flavour because these are normally imported from overseas to malaysia. And they are placed at non-halal section, last end shelf as far as possible they can place.

Next i probably will have a pork burger in mcD in these few day..

Yum Saap at Central Plaza

Pad thai was not so good.. Too sweet..

But the tom yum soup? Ohhh soooo good.. Spicy, salty, sour... Just nice !

The thing that i like is that i could watch tv while i am taking shower and there is also a speaker in the toilet so u can hear clearly from the tv! Not only that, i could watch when i brush my teeth, from mirror, and from the toilet bowl while i am doing my big and small business ;)

And the laptop table is a big plus!

Novotel supports green energy..

Bangkok Day 1

Alone... :/

Arrived the airport at 1pm. Taxi 'premium' service in front of arrival hall wanted to charge me THB 500 (usd 17) to go to my hotel which is 5km away. That's a lot, and the counter service asked me :"is it ok?" I said:" noooo..." And he said with no face expression:" pls proceed to gate 8..."

When i reached gate 8, there are 4 lines of long queues for taxi. Queue was 5 minutes, to go to my hotel was 15 minutes because of Bangkok's usual traffic jam. And it costed me THB 160! ONLY! By meter. Totally worth it!

After checked in, went for quick lunch at Preggo for a salad. And went to exhibition hall for set-up.

Then back to hotel shower cause it was so humid that made me sweat like a ... Not pig but ... More like after under a stormy rain..

Then flew few emails off, went to Central shopping mall 3 km away from hotel. I didnt managed to find something that i like..

So i asked 3 different locals at different time:" is there any other shopping mall nearby here?"

Local1:"ahhh... Home mall!"
Me:"ah yeah? Where?"
Local 1:" 2nd floor"
Me:"ohhhh.. Okayyy.. Thanks..."

Local 2:" ahhh.. Ahhhhh.. Wait a momen piece.." (On the phone, piliao pong pang mat chai sopping mol mi liauuu?! Mai? Ping tong tang ka?[i just made that up])"oh sowiee i dunno.."
Me:"oh ok no problem thanks anyway"

Local 3:" what u wan to buy?"
Me:"clothes? Shoes?"
Local4"oi!!" (Called the husband)
Local4 husband came:"foh .. Foh.. (4th floor)"
Me:"oh.. Okay.. Thank u.."

Pffff... I gave up.. I just stayed in the same shopping mall and ended up in supermarket to shop for food and snacks.

A bah kut teh fusion restaurant at SS2 mall..

Pork burger was really nice except the satay sauce.. It would have been better with bbq sauce..

I like the lights and the drum table..
